“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10b

As a Christian, I wholeheartedly believe that having Jesus as my Savior and Lord does indeed give me “life … more abundantly” 😀 Without God in my life, I wouldn’t be who I am – I wouldn’t be me. And by abundantly, I don’t mean a plethora of possessions, money, or power. I believe that a life made more abundant by Christ is a life that seems richer and fuller, even when you may not have two pennies to rub together, because you know you’ve got friends and family you can count on, and because God has promised to provide. You know even when it feels like you’re falling, all you have to do is say (or scream or whisper) “God, catch me! I can’t hang on anymore!” And He will. He’ll catch you and hold onto you and hide you away as He heals your wounds. Because the only thing He wants you holding onto is Him. And this life we’re pursuing -even when we don’t want to – will still be going on around us; unfortunately, the world will not stop just because we want to get off and take a breather.

So this is MY Life More Abundant – how God is holding onto me, and hiding me and healing my wounds, all in plain sight of the rest of the world, as He also teaches me to fully let go of everything else, and Pursue the Life He has planned for me 🙂
