Okay, so any of you who actually know me in real life know that I LOVE to crochet! It is my most favorite hobby, and I’ve tried more than once (unsuccessfully) to make it profitable. Part of this, now, will be to try once again to make it profitable (etsy here I come), even if it’s just enough to support the hobby. (Oh! How I wish I could make enough to support me and Teddy!)

My absolute most favorite thing in the world to crochet is baby clothes; I abhor making blankets. *shudder*

I’ve also very recently rediscovered two past crafty loves – Perler Beads, and sewing. Call me weird, but I actually enjoy sewing things by hand. I know, I know, it takes a lot longer (as recently pointed out to me by Teddy; “But Mama, if you’d use Aunt Betsy’s sewing machine you’d be done in 5 minutes.” “I know, son, but I enjoy doing it this way.” “But you’d be finished by now if you used the sewing machine.” *sigh*), but I really do enjoy it. Don’t get me wrong, I also enjoy using the sewing machine, and one of the first crafty blogs I’m gonna post will have me using the sewing machine 😉 But expect more on hand-sewing with just needle and thread than with sewing machine.

The Pursuit of Craftiness is my pursuit of fun!
